About the Illustrator Stephen Byrne

Stephen Byrne has been passionate about art and drawing since he was a young child. He pursued his passion and studied animation for 5 years at the Irish School Of Animation. After writing and directing 3 short animated films, he graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Animation.
 
Stephen regularly appears on RTEs Young Peoples' programmes teaching children how to develop their drawing skills, and has become known as the Den Cartoonist.
 
He has worked as a storyboard artist on feature films and TV advertisements, as well as lending his talents to design and animate pre-school projects for Disney Online. He has always had a passion for children's art and cherished the opportunity to lend his skills to the BABY MAX WINGS OF LOVE FUND on the "MISADVENTURES of MAX" project.
